Compadres is a Latin-Funk band based in Bristol UK, working in the local musical scene since 2003. The eclectic mix of rhythms and styles makes of Compadres a unique band not only in Bristol but also in the world-music landscape in the UK. With musicians from Uruguay, England and Peru, the band brings together all the Latin music, salsa, Brazilian rhythms, reggae, funk, jazz, cumbia, flamenco and also hip hop. Live performance is the drive of the band, making all occasions a party where everybody enjoys the different music styles in its pure form and also with the intelligent and audacious mix of them within the different songs.
